Two gardeners who have a love for wildlife and nature started this award-winning 5-star lake lodge in Taupo. Greatly influenced by the geometric harmonic design of Frank Lloyd, both Shirley and Gary embraced organic architecture. Therefore, Lake Taupo Lodge provides harmony with the visitors and the environment, which allows us to provide you with tranquility and luxury.
Lake Taupo Lodge takes pride in the accommodation and service giving to the visitors. From the time you step into our lodge, you can relax and allow us to look after you. Our breathtaking view of the lake and the mountain to our gardens give this overwhelming feeling of peace and serenity.
We offer 6 luxurious suites you can choose from. All of which have private outdoor patio areas with tables and chairs. You can also enjoy the beauty of nature as you watch over the impressive views of the lake and the garden. The ensuite bathrooms have underfloor heating and five of the executive suites have large baths as well as walk-in showers.
We can assure you will find fresh flowers, seasonal fruit, milk and homemade cookies in your room every day along with a selection of teas, and coffee.
To ensure your comfort, we have a private chef, by arrangement to cook you a sumptuous meal. Also, our lodge is equipped with DVD, Satellite TV and Video, a library, binoculars, a full-size billiard table, board games and puzzles, office services and a full bar for your enjoyment.
We don’t forget our friends who love to play golf or are fishing enthusiast. We offer packages for both golfers and fishers that you can choose from.
